Peanut Butter Protein Balls

+ To Make Peanutbutter………purchase a bag full of peanuts (non salted but roasted) in shells…..shell them…….place peanuts in food processor……….push start………..let machine go until peanuts turn to peanut butter (approximately 5-10 minutes) (you many have to scrape sides of bowl)………DO NOT USE BOUGHT PEANUT BUTTER

+ To Make Granola……………purchase the following: rolled oats (big flakes) (bag)……unsweetened coconut (flakes) (1/2 bag)………..jumbo flame raisins (1/2 bag)…………….unsweetened cranberries (1/2 bag)……….medjoule dates (1/4 bag)……….pumpkin seeds, or any kind of seeds, other dried fruit or all (1/2 bag)……..you can add almost anything to this receipe that you want………PRE-HEAT OVEN 300 degrees………before adding dried fruit except dates wash in very hot water and squeeze water out as best as you can……….place all ingredients in big roaster and mix………..add 1/4 – 1/2 cup raw honey and light margarine (becel)……..mix all together………..place in oven…..bake for 15 minutes (stir)……do this 4x or until mixture is lightly browned………cool…….store in any type of plastic container….you can also freeze this…….it stays for a very long time.

+ To Assemble Balls………….place 4 cups of granola in bowl and approximately 2 1/2 cups peanut butter…………make balls and place on cookie sheet lined with parchment paper………place in freezer overnight and wrap each ball with plastic wrap and place in a plastic bag………keep frozen. ENJOY!! ENJOY!!

 

Beautiful Breakfast Buns

+ Yeast Dough

+ 1 cup skim milk 1/2 – 3/4 cup sugar 1/4 cup margarine

+ 3/4 cup warm water 3 pkg. fast rising yeast 1 whole egg & 4 egg whites

+ 2 cups flour

+ skim milk yogurt 4 tbsp.

+ 2 tbsp. cinnamon

+ FILLING

+ mix 1/2 margarine with 1 cup brown sugar to make paste

Method

+ Heat milk till bubbles form around edge of pan, remove from heat add sugar and margarine…….stir to melt margarine…..cool

+ Sprinkle yeast over warm water….stir to dissolve…….add milk mixture…….stir

+ Add 2 cups flour beat still smooth……than add enough flour to make soft dough

+ Let rise for approximately 1 – 1 1/2 hours……..meanwhile mix margarine and brown sugar to make paste….cover inside of pan with a layer of mixture and set aside

+ Roll out dough and spread yogurt over dough

+ Sprinkle cinnamon………option….sprinkle raisins over dough

+ Roll up dough jelly roll fashion; pinch edge to seal; cut cross-wise into pieces and place them into the pan cut side down

+ Let rise until double in bulk and bake for 25 – 30 minutes at 375 degrees or until golden brown.

Old Fashioned Buttermilk Biscuits

+ 2cup 1% buttermilk 8 ups flour 4 tsp. baking powder

+ 2 pkg. fast rising yeast in 1 cup warm water

+ 4 tbsp. sugar 4 tbsp. margarine

Method

+ Preheat oven to 400 degrees…..spray pan with pam

+ Heat buttermilk until bubbles form around edge of pan, cool

+ Sift flour and baking powder into bowl add margarine and mix to resemble coarse cornmeal

+ Sprinkle yeast in warm water, stir to dissolve and add sugar and dissolve completely

+ Add all ingredients together and mix. Dough will be stiff….Knead until smooth..about 5 minutes

+ Gently roll dough out to 1/2 inch thickness

+ Cut into pieces and place on greased cookie sheet…………Let rise until double in bulk and bake 10 –12 minutes or until golden brown.
